me
I am Lisa Bacon, one of the minds behind Girl Indie and The Chick Advebtures Blog! I also own two businesses of my own. IzaBE design studio specializes in web and print design services for the WAHM and independent business. I am working on my most recent project, yummy paper goods, which is a stationery company that I am launching at the end of the Summer. With all that I would have to say that my favorite job is being a  Mom to my two wonderful kids...Xander and Gianna. My husband, Troy, (aka The Baconator) is a huge support in everything that I do (which is a lot!).

Hi!  I'm Bobbie Yerkey, the other mind behind Girl Indie and The Chick Adventures Blog!  I own and operate 2 online businesses.  The first one is MJ Graphic Design where I provide affordable web, graphic and print design for small businesses.  This is such a fun outlet for me to express all my creativity!  My other business is Cuffies.com.  I came up with this great idea to make removable fur cuffs for little girls after watching my daughter struggle with fur cuff tees.  I've been overwhelmed at the response at times but it's so much fun!  But my most favoritest job of all is being mom to my 3 awesome kids!  Jacob is 11, Sean is 7 and Madeline is 2.  I'm also lucky to have full support from my husband, Joe.  If it weren't for his support I wouldn't be where I'm at now :)

kristie
Hey ladies. I'm Kristie Piacine and I'm honored to join the lovely Lisa and Bobbie in blog land! With two young kiddies padding around the house, I'm a high-functioning gal who's hubby constantly says, SLOW DOWN! In between playing dolls, holding hands and kissing boo-boos I run Kind Living Designs, an online boutique full of handmade, personalized goodies. A self-professed beach bum & converse addict, I love shiny baubles, good tunes (I'm a TOTAL band groupie), handmade, and above all people who take that extra step, no matter how challenging, to be kind. I believe that everyone wants goodness in their life - and to get it, you've got to give it. And giving it, well, that isn't always easy, is it? Here's to figuring out how to get to the good life together!

allison
Hello! I am Allison Barton, a twenty-something mom to a 10-month old boy named Alex. As a surprise baby, Alex turned my life upside down and I couldn't be happier with the result! When not chasing after my son, I enjoy reading "mommy blogs" and writing my own, spending time with my partner, Zach, and cooking. Having recently decided that I need to make a lifestyle change due to a persistent cold, I am entering a whole new world of health. It's about time that I started following my own health advice! I am finishing up my Bachelor's degree in Biology before moving on to bigger and brighter things: nursing school. One day, I hope to enter the health field as a Nurse Practitioner working with women and babies. I can't wait to help a woman give birth knowing what a miraculous experience it was for me!

monica
Hello there everyone! I'm Monica Walsh a current WHAM with three young daughters and wife to one of the most awesome tolerating dudes that you could ever know. Life with a 3, 4 and 5 year old can be pretty hectic at times, but that is where my passion for children's fashion allows me to escape. I'm the creator of Little Buttercups Boutique catering to couture children's wear, bedding and gifts. After receiving so many requests for flower girl and bridesmaids gowns I decided to also create another label, Pucker Up Buttercup, for all things wedding. Everything is handmade and or vintage creations in my own studio usually with the guidance from my daughters, they are my greatest inspiration! Now I get to join an awesome team of women and share my adventures with all of you! How sweet life is!
